THE INCA TRAIL

The Inca trail is a network of paths covering 23.000 kilometers of the Andes cordillera. These trails allowed transport, communication and administration of the most important State in the history of pre-colonial America. The film is based on the three periods that deeply affected the region and the Indian people. The three steps and three eras tell a story that repeats itself… one of violence and injustice. In summary of the spirit of the conquests that took place in the Atacama desert, a Peruvian prince said of the Indians: "We should spare our enemies, or we'll only harm ourselves, for soon they will be ours along with everything they own."
